Inspection & Mechanical Repairs/Upgrades

This Syncro came to Quentin’s Garage for our 150 Point Comprehensive Mechanical Inspection. After spending a few hours with the van reviewing every key mechanical component and system, we were able to gain a complete understanding of the vehicle’s condition; the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Following the inspection the client was advised on a number of repairs and upgrades to improve the reliability and overall driving experience of the van.

Scope of repair:

  • Installed a NOS South African Radiator with German made stainless-steel radiator baffles to match. Refinished radiator brackets to keep everything looking new as possible.

  • Bosche TDI Starter Upgrade to replace worn out and temperamental original starter.

  • Pathfinder Designs Reproduction Instrument Cluster foil circuit board.

  • T3 Technique heavy duty upper and lower balljoints.

  • T3 Technique Heavy Duty sway bar and matching end links.

  • Steering shaft overhaul with NOS coupling disc.

  • Shift Linkage overhaul: New bushings, transmission peripherals and viton boots.
